Okay so I am out of order this should have been before Thanksgiving, Not that any of you care :)
So on the 17 Th we had an appointment with a Dr. in LV and decided to make it into a family get away and even splurged on a hotel room! That's huge for us. And we hit up the flea market, Bass Pro Shops and The Bodies Exhibit at the Excalibur. We spent more money than we generally do, but sometimes that what you need to do.
Although we had fun at Bass pro shops admiring there huge aquarium and taxidermy animals, and found some steal of deals at the flea market ( including an amazing playpen/bassinet with built in diaper changer for ridiculously cheap) the highlight for sure was the exhibit! If you have a weak stomach then it wouldn't be for you. But Jayme and I love the Human Body for it's complexity. It featured REAL bodies that had there skins removed and the parts dissected down. They had everything from the brain to female organs and fetuses to the blood vessels, AMAZING!! You need to google it. They wouldn't allow photographs :( But is definitely for adults and older or really young kids in less your prepared for the birds and the bees discussion :) Leta made point to announce certain body parts for everyone!
But if you talk to Leta the highlight was when mommy spotted Elmo on the strip so Daddy found free parking and we all went dashing through a casino and several blocks on the strip to reach him. And the minute he was in sight she started trembling saying Elmo, Elmo mommy, Elmo!! And for a small tip she got a hug and high five from him. Excited doesn't even cover it! The pictures crack me up, it was really late and she was grungy from dinner and undone her hair, but her smile is worth a thousand bucks :) And of course being we where already on the strip we had to visit the m&ms store..
