COloRaDo and MaNti PagEaNT!

After leaving his Uncle Wayne and Aunt Margret's we wound our way through the rest of Colorado following highway 550 passing thru Durango..Silverton and Grand Junction. The drive thru the Silverton was some of the best Scenery by far! Just North of Silverton was Ouray. Nicknamed "The Switzerland of America" it was breath taking, It was so green and full unlike our poor excuse of woodlands.
Unfortunately we didn't get allot of pictures due to a toddler who had enough of traveling by this point and just wanted to get home.
We finally made back to Utah, and let me tell you I was never so happy to see the "Welcome to Utah" sign as I was that day. We decided to take a much needed break in Manti and strolled the streets and stretched our legs at the craft fair before heading to the pageant. Being plenty early gave Leta a chance to run free and burn off some pent in energy. The pageant dinner was a welcome treat after a week of eating mostly "picnic food". And Leta got a free picture of Jesus she clung to and kept pointing at (she even learned how to sign Jesus thanks to a sweet family with a deaf son!).
Of course the Pageant was a tear jerker for me. I have seen it countless times and it never gets old. For those who haven't seen it...GO!!! (We have to go when Leta is older since she slept blissfully through it her first time)
Well that sums up the highlights of our trip, hope you enjoyed all our pictures :)
(hopefully it all made sense and wasn't to much rambling on and on )
