First time Shame on YOU Second time Shame on ME!!
So we have been spring cleaning our place..burning weeds, throwing junk away you get the idea.
And since Leta loves the outdoors we just plopped her in her stroller with her toys and let her hang with us. We discovered that she could wiggle out when she slid out on the grass, unhurt happy at her trick. So silly mommy and daddy thought putting blankets in the way would stop her, NOT! (It has straps, but don't ask us why she wasn't strapped). And she decided to do a repeat performance this time catching a stick.....It looks worse than it really was and she seems proud of her first War Wound and we're glad it missed the eye!!
Ouch. Don't worry it happens more often the older they get. Can't tell you how mant times I have done things that deserves the bad mom title.
ReplyDeleteShe does look thrilled to death. How many times did we have to explain the black eyes to concerned family/doctor? Kids fall I've discovered and I think they get over it more quickly than we do.
