Snips and Snails and puppy dog tales...

Just to warn you the past couple of days we have been blessed with alot of changes and exciting events so this is going to be a longer post so grab a snack sit back and enjoy....

On Friday we decided to go on a quick camping trip. By the time we where loaded and ready to go it was late and we didn't roll into camp until 9:30 at night. Leta woke shortly after the tent was set up and the fire was blazing and was instantly enthralled with the fire and was determined to inspect it closer. None of us got sleep between the cold and Leta. She found the sitiution hiliraous, apparently the concept of sitting in a cold foriegn object with a lantern is to much fun for a one yr old. We spent the entire night convincing Leta to stop giggling and go to sleep. Imagine her delight when morning came and mommy didn't stop her from making dirt angels and sampling some of natures finiest dirt. Unfortuanly the batteries failed so there are no pics past the waking up pics :(.....Despite the cold, lack of sleep and swarms of flies and wasps it was a fun memeroble time as Jayme says "A bad day in the outdoors is still better than a good day indoors".

This now brings us to Sat. night. After I got home and enjoyed a nice hot shower I slipped away for a few hours and enjoyed the beautifull messages in the General Womens Broadcast. I especially enjoyed the Talk Mind The Gap. When I got home we had to run to Wal-Mart for some cat food, and it must have been destiney because we have finally found the puppy of our dreams. You really can find everything at Wal-Mart! Shasta is 3/4 Lab and 1/4 hound and has hunting in her blood, she is very obediant and calm not to mention very sweet tempered. A girl in our Sunday School class we teach came up with her name.

And to finally end this post is on sunday we went for a Sunday drive and ended up buying a really nice 18 ft. camp Trailer...I will post pics of that to real soon. Yes we "shopped" on Sunday, whoops.

My Country Bumpkin..

Jayme got these shots of Leta for our Anniversary. Here our a couple of my favorites.
Yes she looks a bit like a boy, but daddy didn't think of a headband and she is still adorable anyway :)

3 Yrs Down!

Today marks three blissful years of marriage for Jayme and I, Okay so maybe it hasn't all been bliss but I wouldn't change a thing. I thank my Heavenly Father for such and amazing husband and daddy we couldn't ask for better.

Odds And Ends

I was on a quest to find some bigger shelves for the baby's room to make it more toddler friendly. I struck gold at a moving sale just down the street. Not only did I find one but two! Which meant I could finally clear up some counter space by moving a bunch of bigger kitchen appliances to shelves in the laundry room and now Leta has better access to her stuff ( how much stuff does one kid need!). Here is a video of Leta walking, she is absolutely loving her new found mobility. Another day when she is not so distracted with food I will get her going further or at least something a little more interesting so without further ado...

Can I take your Order?

Our ward does a RS Luncheon once a month at our local Sizzlers, I have never gone until today. After our morning walk I fit in a quick shower before it was time to run to our weekly play group at the park then it was home again for a quick spell then it was on to lunch! A busy morning indeed, but a very enjoyable one. It was to much for Leta and she crashed five min before my ride came so my wonderfull brother watched her while I stole away for an hour and half alone to enjoy some adult time and great food :)
It is amazing what some time out alone can do for a mommy! Well I am off to do some laundry, Good day everyone.

**Fun is in the Air at The Iron County Fair**

The pictures are not in order*

So Sat morning we all got up early and drove into Parowan for there Iron County Fair baby Contest, Leta was # 7 in the 7-12 month division and although we didn't win it was a fun experience. Afterwards we made a stop at the petting zoo, she kept trying to get the pig to look her in the face, he was a little shy. Her favorite was the Ram. She was tuckered out after such a busy morning and went home to nap before her big party ( see next post). After the party she got clean and we headed back to the fair for some carnival rides, Leta enjoyed her first Merry-go-round ride once she got used to it...A very busy but enjoyable day :)

I am seeing spots!

After much planning and stressing on my part the party went off without a hitch, we had a good turn out of family and friends who love Leta.
I was thrilled with myself for managing to make Leta's cake myself and not to be vain but it was AWESOME!! Everything in the dining room was either covered with lady bug colors or spots.
She loved being the center of attention and kept squeling and clapping her hands over the balloons and decorations, not to mention all the cake she devoured.

..::1 Yr Stats::..

Another good report from the Doc, she is healthy and right on track. Leta even gained enough wait to graduate to the front facing seat, Yay!
